Keanu Reeves, whose first name signifies "cool wind over the mountains" in Hawaiian, was conceived in Beirut, Lebanon in 1964, the child of English-conceived Patricia Taylor, a showgirl, and American-conceived Samuel Nowlin Reeves, a geologist.
